Meet the team
Rob and Russ
Directors
Rob and Russ are our company directors. They completed apprenticeships straight from school and in 1999 decided to work together and formed RJ Electrical and Plumbing. With over 70 years’ experience between them they have a wealth of knowledge and they are always happy to provide our customers with honest advice about their projects.
Ian
Electrician
Ian has worked with RJ since 2006.
He qualified in 2005 and has both his PASMA and IPAF qualifications allowing him to work at height.
Ian is an incredibly versatile engineer who is happy working on commercial and domestic properties.
Leigh
Electrician
Leigh started with us in 2017.
He has completed his NVQ diploma in accordance with the current 18th edition wiring regulations. Holds his City & Guilds 2391, allowing him to test existing installations to provide an EICR and to also carry out new installations, ECS Gold card approved.
Leigh is often on our larger projects doing intricate work on complex systems.
Brett
Electrician
Brett joined the team in 2020.
He completed his apprenticeship in 2022 and has his PASMA qualification allowing him to work on installations at height.
Brett enjoys working on larger projects and commercial properties.
Ed
Electrician
Ed is the newest member of the team. He joined us in early 2024.
So far Ed has proved to be a great asset getting involved in both our larger building projects and smaller domestic work.
Chris
Heating Engineer
Chris started with us as an apprentice in 2007 and has been with us ever since.
He is qualified to work on oil and gas boilers and unvented cylinders.
Chris has a great attention to detail and is excellent at resolving complicated issues.
Paul
Heating Engineer
Paul joined the company in 2017.
Paul is qualified to work on oil boilers and pressurised cylinders.
Paul works on our large projects and installing complex plant rooms.
James
Plumber
James moved over to RJ in 2020 after working with another firm.
He qualified as a plumber in 2016 and is qualified to work on pressured systems.
James enjoys carrying out full heating and plumbing instals.
Josh
Plumber
Josh joined the team as an apprentice in 2020.
He has completed his plumbing training and is in the process of finishing his Gas portfolio which will allow him to work on pressurised cylinder’s and gas boilers.
Josh enjoys working in domestic properties as well as on larger scale projects.
Jess
Office Manager
Jess started in 2015 and manages the day to day running of the office.
Rach
Accounts
Rachel handles our accounts and HR departments.
Reggie
Office Dog
Reggie joined the team from Greece in 2017.
He has been successfully barking at delivery drivers and postmen ever since!
